JGS Clean Up Day - Sept 22

Many people wonder who maintains the beautiful grounds of JGS? It is all maintained by volunteers throughout the year. However, each Spring and Fall it is necessary to call upon the rest of the community to come out and help with our “Outdoor To-Do List. ” Saturday, September 22, 2018 will be the Fall Work Day dedicated to completing many of the items on the To-Do list as we prepare for Covenant Sunday. Items on the list include tree and hedge trimming, weeding and trimming in the gardens, repair of the bleachers at the ball field, cleaning gutters, painting doors, minor electrical work, and other landscape and maintenance items. This event is open to all members of the community and is an excellent opportunity for families and friends to work together, especially students in need of community service hours. The Men's Club will kick-off the day with coffee and donuts at 8:00 AM in the Pavilion. Bring work gloves and lots of energy. Many hands make light work. We should finish up around noon, but any amount of time you can give will be appreciated.
