Covenant Sunday Celebration for entire parish. All are welcome. Bring your own chair and enjoy Mass. Festival and lunch will begin immediately following 11AM Mass.
The term "covenant" comes from Jesus' words over the cup during the Last Supper: "This cup is the new covenant in my blood." (Luke 22:20) Since our worship is centered in the Eucharist, we are a community of the Covenant.
Our annual celebration of Covenant Sunday takes place Sun, Sept 30, 2018. To the new members of our community, we celebrate ONE Sunday Mass outside at the Grotto at 11 a.m. on the last Sunday in September. It is followed by our family festival and lots of delicious food. A good time is had by all! Our chairs for Covenant Sunday this fall are Chris and Maureen Wyvill and we are grateful for their expertise and leadership! We need lots of volunteers to make this work.
The more participation, the better the celebration! Please mark your calendars for this great and wonderful annual celebration of our Christ-filled community!
