Making Beautify Gardens

We maintain the Prayer Garden grounds to include spring and fall clean-up along with the planting of annuals and perennial flowers / shrubs at the appropriate times. The ministry plans to meet in the spring and fall at the same time or close to the same time as the spring and fall clean-up for the greater church grounds. Small groups and individuals also work on smaller projects in the garden.

It allows someone to participate in a ministry that allows flexibility in your participation allows you to work outside and supports and area many parishioners take advantage of for prayer and some quiet time. 

The JGS Prayer Garden is not only used as a place for prayer but is also visited by guests and people attending special events like weddings, baptisms and first communions as a place to take photographs.
